On Thursday Feral Interactive announced plans to publish Lionhead Studios’ Fable: The Lost Chapters on the Mac. Fable: The Lost Chapters is a role-playing game based on the hit Xbox 2004 release. If you are facing data loss problem after reinstallation of OS X, finding the right solution to recover lost data after reinstalling OS X on Mac is the key to get your data back. If you have backups with Time Machine or Backup software, you can restore your files by extracting backups. Turn on Finder integration. If you’re on OSX 10.10 or higher, get sync status directly from Finder by enabling Finder overlays in Settings. First, click the Apple logo in the top left corner of your Mac Desktop and select System Preferences, then select Extensions in the top-level menu (shown in the 3rd row from the top). Toggle on the OneDrive Finder Integration to enable Finder overlays.
If you stop using the drive it's possible to recover deleted files that have not been overwritten by using recovery software such as Data Rescue II, File Salvage or TechTool Pro. Each of the preceding come on bootable CDs to enable usage without risk of writing more data to the hard drive. Two free alternatives are Disk Drill and TestDisk. Look for them and demos at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads.
The longer the hard drive remains in use and data are written to it, the greater the risk your deleted files will be overwritten.

On Thursday Feral Interactive announced plans to publish Lionhead Studios’ Fable: The Lost Chapters on the Mac. Fable: The Lost Chapters is a role-playing game based on the hit Xbox 2004 release. It’s currently in development for Windows as well, and is expected to be released for both Mac and Windows later this year. What’s more, this may pave the way for more Lionhead games to come to the Mac.
Role playing action adventure with a twist
Fable: The Lost Chapters is a fantasy action-adventure game set in the mythical world of Albion. Set in a third-person perspective, Fable: The Lost Chapters is a sprawling game loaded with many missions and quests. But Lionhead has added some unique twists to Fable: Your character starts out as a child and ages throughout the game, changing its physical appearance, receiving training at the Heroes’ Guild and then going out into the world. What’s more, your actions determine your character’s moral alignment, and whether they are “good” or “evil” will have a profound affect on them and on how others perceive them.

The decisions you make, your successes and your failures will have a direct bearing on how the other characters in Fable perceive and react to you. Those decisions will also determine the ultimate end to the game. Fable: The Lost Chapters takes the original Xbox experience and expands upon it with more content, greater customization features, new quests and enhanced graphics.
An ongoing relationship
“We are delighted to be publishing Fable: The Lost Chapters on the Mac. The quality and success of Lionhead’s titles speak for themselves,” said Feral Interactive founder David Stephen in a statement to MacCentral. “We are particularly excited about the expansion and adaption of Fable for the Mac. It is sure to be a fantastic addition to the Mac games roster.”
Lionhead Studios is home to legendary game designer Peter Molyneux. Moylneux’s credits include Populous, Syndicate, Dungeon Keeper, Black & White and other games. And Feral previously collaborated with Lionhead in 2002 to bring Black & White and its expansion pack, Creature Isle, to the Macintosh.
“Feral did a fantastic job with the Mac conversion of Black & white and so I sure they will do an amazing job with Fable — it is good to know that this game will now reach an even wider audience,” said Molyneux.
And finally, there’s fantastic news for Macintosh gaming enthusiasts who love Molyneux’s work. Feral described the publishing of Fable: The Lost Chapters as “a significant strengthening” of their relationship with Lionhead Studios, and hinted that other Lionhead games may may be appearing on the Mac.
