Lychee Slicer will work on most modern computers. Nonetheless, working with 3D models in the right conditions requires proper specifications.
Operating systems: Windows 8 – Windows 10 64 bit, Mac OS 10.13+, Linux Big Sur and Mac M1 are not officially supported (yet!) Memory: 8 Gb, recommended 16Gb+ Graphic card with WebGL2 support. Up-to-date graphic drivers are required. 1280×800 resolution, recommended 1920×1080+ / 4K. Sh install-mango.sh Using sudo to run the script as root: sudo sh install-mango.sh Answer the prompts. The script will prompt you to enter details about where to install Mango, which version of Mango to install etc. Hit enter and accept the default option shown inside the square brackets default.
A “gaming” computer will be perfect for Lychee Slicer.

Information
Lychee Slicer is intensively using the graphic card of your computer. Some laptops are using shared memory and can encounter some slow down, especially during the slicing process.
Keep in mind that using high polygon count 3D models may be useless, based on the size of your 3D print and your 3D printer resolution. A 100+ Mb STL file for a 28mm miniature soldier will have many details and useless polygons that your 3D printer will not be able to reproduce.
Even if we don’t support Windows 7 systems, Lychee Slicer should work without issue. However, keep in mind that some instabilites can occur, and some of the hardware drivers may not be updated over time, like the graphic card one.
